SHOWS :

Immerse yourself in the magical world of CCFM’s “Série Jeune Public”, specially designed to dazzle French-speaking and immersion schools. Our bold mission? To offer every student, whatever their level, the chance to master French while having fun, and to broaden their horizons while being entertained. Our shows promise an educational experience that’s off the beaten track, in an environment where learning meets entertainment.

We make each edition shine by selecting shows and activities orchestrated by professional artists handpicked for their pedagogical expertise. For 2023-2024, we’re proud to unveil three shows that promise to make your students’ eyes shine:

• The first show, scheduled for November 6, 2023, will feature artist Matiu as part of the Coup de Cœur Francophone festival.
• The second show, on April 5, 2024, will feature Micah in a show entitled “Micah Joue de la Musique”.

ART WORKSHOPS :

Discover the incredible world of art at the Centre culturel franco-manitobain, where every year we roll out an array of art workshops that are sure to delight your students, from the youngest to the oldest. Yes, we know how to make learning French as exciting as a thrilling adventure!

Our workshops are an open invitation to both French-speaking and immersion schools. We’re here to help students of all levels perfect their French while having fun and enriching their artistic understanding.

Imagine your students exploring their boundless imagination, while practicing the language outside the school walls, in an environment that’s both creative and educational. Our workshops begin with an immersive experience: a guided tour of the exhibition, dynamically guided by an artist. Then it’s time to give free rein to their creativity in artistic sessions. In the course of these workshops, your students will see their senses sharpen, their technical skills blossom, and their creativity take flight. Each year, we collaborate with professional artists hand-picked for their teaching skills, to ensure an enriching experience. Each year we offer several workshops:

• March 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22, 2024, focus on clay animation, with artist Chase Martin.
• On May 2 and 3, with Lou-Anne Bourdeau, students will discover the role of the exhibition curator by creating their own exhibitions. Guided by their own creativity, they will select works, decide on their arrangement and reflect on the links between them.
• Finally, May 24 will see an immersive guided tour of Patricia Lortie’s exhibition, followed by a creative collage workshop with her entitled “Rencontre avec la forêt” (“Meeting the Forest”)
