ACRYLIC PAINTING WORKSHOP – CHASE MARTIN

Welcome everyone! Whether you’ve never held a paintbrush in your life or you’re simply curious to explore new techniques, this acrylic painting workshop is made for you! Under the guidance of Chase Martin, you’ll have the chance to attend five exciting classes to create your own masterpiece on canvas. Chase will be there to introduce you to the joys of acrylic painting, guiding you step by step through your artistic adventure.

Together, you’ll discover his creative approach while diving into the realization of your own creation. Inspired by treasures found in old books, magazines, and other illustrations, Chase will encourage you to unleash your imagination. Through this workshop, you’ll explore the art of collage, combining different techniques to bring forth unique and vibrant works.

In this workshop, creativity is celebrated, and there are no right or wrong ways to paint. Chase will teach you a variety of techniques and encourage you to follow your artistic instinct and find your own artistic path, applying the techniques that resonate best with you. So come with your enthusiasm and your smile, and get ready to dive into a world of colors and creativity!

MATERIALS PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING :

  • your brushes
  • 1 canvas of 16″ x 20″
  • 1 medium to large-sized canvas, with dimensions ranging from at least 24″ x 24″ to a maximum of 36″ x 36″. (The canvas can be either square or rectangular. An economical option would be to glue several Dollarama canvases together)
  • Reference materials: old books, old magazines
