Journal art workshop: a method of creative expression and personal development

Discover the Art Journal: a space of intimate expression where colors, shapes, and words intertwine to reflect your moods and emotions. Our sessions, personalized to meet the group’s needs, will guide you through a limitless creative exploration.

“An art journal reflects our moods, our inner feelings by working with colors and shapes. It also leaves room for words, but to a lesser extent than a traditional journal.”

The sessions also allow for the discovery or deepening of various artistic techniques and mixed media techniques. Sessions are adapted based on the group’s needs from one session to another depending on the participants’ progress.

  • Week 1: Dive into our introductory course where we demystify the Art Journal and explore a variety of mediums and artistic techniques.
  • Week 2: From intuitive writing to imagery, let your words transform into visual creations through spontaneous writing exercises.
  • Week 3: Explore the theme of “From the Other to Oneself” by expressing your emotions through plastic creations inspired by group discussions.
  • Week 4: Practice letting go by creating from a random word, exploring what it evokes for you through art.
  • Week 5: Connect with your intuition by working with colorful cards, exploring the meanings of colors in your artistic practice.
  • Week 6: Dive into the core of yourself with intuitive work around inkblots, visually telling your own story through abstract shapes.
