Feu les artifices ! New music album of the Surveillantes

The audience can’t help but smile when they see Les Surveillantes performing on stage. The fun of this Winnipeg group is obvious and contagious. Gathered on stage around two microphones, the proximity leads to an unparalleled complicity between Jérémie Gosselin (vocals, banjo), Denis Vrignon-Tessier (vocals, guitar) and Eric Gosselin (vocals, bass).

While American bluegrass bands have initiated this voluntary simplicity in shows, Les Surveillantes present songs of their own making, inspired by folk, French chanson and rock. Songs in which humor and sensitivity are reflected. Each member of the trio writes, composes and sings in turn the lead voice, leading to a variety that is as entertaining as it is surprising.
