From St. Boniface to Hollywood, via Toronto and Montreal, Micheline has had a long and fruitful career. As a comedian, actor and host, this Franco-Manitoban has had more than 250 episodes of television.

In 2020, Micheline participated in the shows produced by Just for Laughs: Le Prochain stand-up and the gala Rire en français!  She also participated in the ComédieHa! festival’s show Trait d’humour.

In the last few years, Micheline has participated in the television show D’un rire à l’autre, co-produced by Just for Laughs and UNIS.tv. In addition, Micheline’s comedy capsules Guide Micheline des F.H.Q., which include a series of sketches and vox pops, can be seen on TFO and YouTube, including her favorite characters such as Chantal Hébert, a political analyst, and other Franco characters outside Quebec. For the past 15 years, Ms. Marchildon has been filling festival venues such as the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the CBC Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and the Fringe Festivals in Montreal, Winnipeg and Toronto.

Martin Bruyère began his solo career in Quebec in 2001 and formed the duo “2 Gars S’essayent” in 2003 in Winnipeg. The duo has presented more than a hundred shows in the Canadian Francophonie and hosted a radio show for almost two years. Two comedy albums were released, “L’album brun” in 2003 and “Première tentative” in 2007. Although the duo still exists, Martin Bruyère is now back on stage solo. In order to keep French humour alive in Manitoba, Martin launched “Le Rire Zone” in 2017, a collective of comedians who present comedy shows.

Similar to the Canadian geese, Michel Roy makes his bi-annual migration to stand-up! For more than 20 years, he has set up shop in St. Boniface, in St. Pierre, in the basement of the church in St. Georges, depending on his mood and who is willing to pay him a meal. His travels have brought him to share his hilarious humor at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie and the Rire Zone. His mom thinks he is “pretty funny”!

Isabelle Mercier is a singer-songwriter who combines humor with life’s little dramas. Her catchy melodies make us smile and allow us to forget for a moment the concerns of everyday life. The web universes that inhabit her will never replace her love for the stage and the connection with her audience. Participant in the 2021 edition of the Nouvelle scène contest, organized by the Conseil culturel fransaskois, she won the Prix coup de coeur du public. Since then, she has accumulated training and experience in the musical field and has gone into the studio to make her first recordings.

Since her debut in 2021, she has taken part in the TeleMiracle telethon on CTV, as well as in the program Tournée générale, broadcast on UnisTv. She has also performed at Coup de coeur franco 2022, the Saint-Jean-Baptiste festivities at Zenon Park, the Regina Science Centre, the Cinq à Sept Francophone Festival in Ness Creek, and the Prince Albert Festival. Saskatoon Fransaskois have also been able to hear him during musical quizzes organized by the Fédération des francophones de Saskatoon.
