Le Patio 340 brings the blues culture to Winnipeg through its parties. Saturday November 26th at 8pm the band Jelly B & The Kmart Shoppers will be on stage!

Jelly B & The Kmart Shoppers are three friends who share a love of music and fun. Their blend of roots, blues and folk rock tunes always gets the audience clapping and singing along. Add to that original songs and musicians who play a wide range of instruments and you have everything you need for your entertainment shopping list. Brad Friesen (Boo Radley) is a percussionist … who spent 10 years watching the ass of Winnipeg’s biggest Celtic rock band. He now plays mostly the drum machine known as the cajon, but occasionally shows us his considerable talents on the full kit. Slim Shakey (aka Glen Hagen) has been writing and playing songs for longer than he can remember, and plays bass, guitar and ukulele. Jelly B was a hidden blues singer until she met two crazy people who brought her into the spotlight. She plays guitar, bass and flute. She and Slim write most of the band’s original songs, separately and together.
