It is our pleasure to finally present to you, after two years of pandemic, a Contact West in the flesh!

This year marks the 15th edition of Contact West produced by the Réseau des grands espaces.

This event represents a milestone in the development and dissemination of francophone performing arts in Western and Northern Canada. It is under the theme Contact West 2022, Your Source of Cultural Vitamin that this event welcomes you in person, for the first time since 2019. Contact West 2022 will be held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from September 15 to 18, 2022.

Contact West is the only Francophone performing arts market in Western and Northern Canada. With its showcases, networking and consultation meetings, exhibition booths and friendly atmosphere, this event will facilitate the meeting of artists, presenters and professionals of the Francophone performing arts industry, with the goal of improving the conditions of presenting practices in Western and Northern Canada and increasing the circulation of artists in this region. Thanks to the presence of producers, national and international presenters, Contact West ensures a great visibility for artists beyond Western and Northern Canada.  Contact West is :

• More than 150 participants;
• 40 presenters from the West and the North;
• An international delegation;
• A delegation of Canadian arts industry professionals;
• 18 artists from the Canadian Francophonie and Quebec presented in a showcase accessible to the general public;
• Professional training activities
• A special 15th edition Gala
