Purpose of the Privacy Policy

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide users of our Site with information regarding the personal data we will collect, as well as the following, where applicable:

  • Personal data collected;
  • Use of collected data;
  • Persons having access to the data collected;
  • The rights of users of the site;
  • The site's cookie policy.

This Privacy Policy is effective concurrently with our Site's Terms of Use.

Applicable laws

This policy complies with the laws set out in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and Manitoba Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

Automatic data collection

During your visit and use of our site, we may automatically acquire and store the following information:

We may also collect the following data when you perform certain actions on our site:

  • Register for an event
  • Purchasing tickets for an event

It is important to note that we only collect the data necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will not collect additional data without first informing you. The information you provide to us will be used to fulfill our obligations to you.

Use of personal data

The personal data we collect on our site will be used exclusively for the purposes specified in this policy or specified on the relevant pages of our site. We will not use your data beyond what we have previously disclosed.

The data we collect automatically is used for statistical purposes.

As for the data we collect when the user performs certain actions, they can be used for purposes such as:

  1. Communication
  2. Finalizing registration or ticket purchase.

Data sharing: 

Employee

We may share user data with members of our organization when reasonably necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this policy.

Third parties

We may share user data with our partners when collaborating on events. When you purchase tickets, register another person, or otherwise provide your personal information (for example, through an online form), the event partner will receive the information you provided, including your personal data and the personal data of the other people for whom you purchased tickets or registered.

The Partner may then send you emails or text messages related to the Service or the event, as well as other communications that may be governed by a separate privacy policy. In some cases, an Event Partner may collaborate with other partners to organize the event, which may result in your personal information being shared with all of the partners. We cannot be held responsible for the actions of the Partner regarding your personal data. It is therefore important that you review the Partner's current policies before disclosing any personal information or other information in connection with the event.

Third parties will not have access to user data beyond what is reasonably necessary to achieve the specified purpose.

Other disclosures

We undertake not to sell or share your data with other third parties, except in the following cases:

  1. if required by law;
  2. if it is required for any legal proceedings;
  3. to prove or protect our legal rights.

Please note that if you follow hyperlinks from our site to other sites, we would like to inform you that we have no responsibility or liability for, and have no control over, their privacy policies and practices.

Personal data retention period

For users that register on our website, if any, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users have the ability to review, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except their username, which cannot be changed. Website administrators also have the ability to review and edit that information.

We do not retain user data beyond the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.

How we protect your personal data

All data stored in our system is carefully secured and only accessed by our employees. While we take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of our users' data and its protection, there is an inherent risk. Cookies policy
