Each year, the Centre culturel franco-manitobain presents a range of activities for young people of all ages. The youth shows are aimed at both Francophones and young people in immersion.

Regardless of their level, let’s give these young people the opportunity to develop their French while having fun and improving their skills!

These shows are an opportunity for your children to practice French outside of school. We offer a new playful and educational environment for our budding French-speaking children.

Year after year, these shows and activities are presented by professional artists selected by our team for their artistic and educational qualities.

The CCFM in partnership with the Alliance française du Manitoba are pleased to present La Foret Ebouriffée.

From the book La forêt de Racine by Mélusine Thiry.

Racine is not a little boy like any other, nobody has been able to see that in his head a forest has grown. Fleeing from a hostile grandmother and a distressing daily life, he runs to take refuge there. And within an invasive forest, changing according to his emotions that the little boy will live the most unexpected adventures, drawing little by little the path that leads him to his inner self.

Here, the universe of the choreographers intertwines with the singular imagination of Mélusine Thiry, author, illustrator and video artist. The scenographic device and the videos, allow a poetic journey between virtual images and moving bodies, for an immersion of the spectator in a sensitive and singular world.
