Justin Lacroix,iconic figure of the Franco-Manitoban stage, will be playing solo for the first part of this special event. A philosopher and lover of freedom, Justin observes the world around him, with its joys and sorrows, and shares it with us in his own unique way. He travels between folk, rock ans blues with catchy melodies and lively grooves, offering colorful texts which combine tenderness and humour with heart and soul.
FinallyDjely Tapa will offer you a show at the crossroads of Malian and Western cultures, past, present, and future. Originally from the Kayes region in western Mali, Djely Tapa shares the wise words and vocal art of the griots, emblematic figures of Malian society, both ancient and contemporary, whose origins date back to the 13th-century Manding Empire. Her repertoire blends Manding traditions, desert blues, and electronic sounds.Artists

Djely Tapa
Originally from the Kayes region in western Mali, Djely Tapa made her solo debut in 2019 with her album Barokan (2020 JUNO Award - World Music Album of the Year), and her album Dankoroba received the 2025 JUNO Global Music Album Award.

Justin Lacroix
Originally from Winnipeg, Justin found his path through music, trading his childhood violin for a guitar. He made his mark in 2005 with his first solo album, Boogieman. Three more solo albums and two albums recorded with his band, featuring Ivan Burke (percussion), Joel Couture (bass), and Joël Perreault (guitar), followed. In the fall of 2019, Justin released another single, Au bout du banc, with his band, and a self-produced solo album, Sur la route.
