Jocelyne Baribeau
Winner of the Western Canadian Francophone Artist Award at the Western Canadian Music Awards in October 2016 in Regina, her first album, Entre toi et moi, earned her a nomination for the Canadian Folk Music Awards in the Francophone Songwriter of the Year category and the ROSEQ Award at Contact Ouest. In November 2016, the song FRANÇOIS was nominated for SOCAN Award-winning song at the Gala Country at the Casino de Montréal. Jocelyne was also nominated for female performer of the year for the event. In 2021, Jocelyne released a new EP entitled PORTRAITS VOLUME 1. PORTRAITS VOLUME 2, released in 2022, received several nominations (Gala Country, WCMA) and made several charts. She has opened for Isabelle Boulay, Roch Voisine, Les Soeurs Boulay, Alexandre Désilets and Patrick Normand
Joannie Benoit
Originally from Tracadie-Sheila, New Brunswick, Joannie Benoit was proclaimed the grand winner of the Gala de la Chanson de Caraquet in 2010. She then tried her luck at Star Académie where she was chosen among 14 candidates. She performed over 70 shows on tour with the team of academicians and had the opportunity to sing a duet with Mika, Céline Dion, Johnny Hallyday, Patricia Kaas, Coeur de Pirate, Lynda Lemay, Michel Rivard and several other renowned artists. Her first album, Pot Mason (2015) was produced by David Brunet and earned her a nomination for Francophone album of the year at the 2016 ECMA Music Awards, recording of the year at the 2016 Gala Musique NB and the Export Acadie award at the 2017 Gala Prix Trille Or. Subsequently, she toured as a duo with Mélissa Bédard and then released her second album Feux de Bengale in February 2018, produced by Guy Tourville, which was a great success.
