Biography:

Hélène Perreault has been writing her own songs for the past 15 years, but it wasn’t until 2020 during the pandemic that she began recording her guitars and vocals for a first album.

Interested in Hélène’s varied melodies and her poetic and personal lyrics, Francis Covan agreed to sign the arrangements and to co-produce the album À distance.

Hélène’s musical influences are all over the place, she loves bossa nova as much as folk rhythms passing by classical and blues. Hélène loves vocal harmonies and as she says, “you can take a girl out of the choir, but not the choir out of the girl“.

She is currently working on a second album which should be released before the end of 2023.
