“Art of the Book” is an international exhibition organized every 5 years by the Canadian Bookbinders and Book Artists Guild (CBBAG).

Works by more than 60 artists from all over the world are featured in the exhibition. They were all selected by a jury for their unique way to use the book as an artistic medium.

This original and amazing exhibit travels for two years across Canada, and offers viewers an ever-increasing level of skill and creativity in the various aspects of bookbinding and the book arts.

Art of the Book 2018 will stop in Winnipeg from August 22 to October 3 at the CCFM Art Gallery. Join us for the opening night on Thursday, August 22, at 6 pm in the gallery, to explore the exhibition and meet some of the artists!

It’s free and open to everyone! There will be a bar and snacks.
