Manitoba Improvisation League

The Manitoba Improvisation League (LIM) is back for its 36th season. On the program: surprises, craziness, and lots of laughs, all in French! Every Friday at 20 p.m., join the Blues, Yellows, Reds, and Greens in the Antoine-Gaborieau Hall for improv matches in a high-energy atmosphere!

The LIM is looking for volunteers, new players, and a referee for its 36th season. Whether you're passionate about improv or simply curious to try it out, come discover the stage, create stories, and join a totally wild community.

Three training camps are open for future players:

• Wednesday, September 23 at 19 p.m.
• Thursday, September 24 at 19 p.m.
• Friday, September 25th at 19 p.m.

No experience is required, come and try your luck and attempt to join one of our four teams!

Founded in 1990, the Manitoba Improvisation League (LIM) was largely inspired by the model established by the renowned Ligue Nationale d'Improvisation de Montréal (LNI). It is made up of four distinct teams, each proudly sporting the colours of the Verts, Rouges, Jaunes and Bleus, with a roster of 6 to 8 players per team. The LIM is distinguished by its ability to combine fun with the discovery of real talent, thus creating a fertile ground for spontaneous artistic expression.

A big thank you to the LIM sponsors for this 2026-2027 season
