Oeuvres en contexte : Art extérieur éphémère
What is ephemeral public art? What kinds of challenges does it bring up? How to design a work that will survive the weather?
All these questions and many others will be addressed in this discussion, that will revolve around the themes of public art and the context of outside presentation. Several Winnipeg contributors, such as Eduardo Aquino (Cool Gardens), Stéphane Dorge (Cool Streets) or Alexandra Keim (Nuit Blanche) will discuss the issues in a bilingual discussion moderated by Émilie Lemay.
This discussion will be followed by a workshop by artist-in-residence Aurélia Bizouard (Vancouver). Her projections of lights and paintings on glass invite us to take a new look at the places we live in collectively.
Come to take part in the discussion!
