From Antoine Chance to Alexis Normand, Ariane Mahrÿke Lemire, Antoine Lachance, Philippe Brach and not to mention homegrown artist, Claude Bellefeuille, Manitoba audiences will be able to enjoy a variety of  performances that will make them soar, think, dance and dream during the Coup de coeur francophone series. The CCFM has launched its pre-sale today, allowing you to save on tickets until September 30th!

The Ligue d’improvisation du Manitoba (LIM) is back with the training camp on September 19th and 21st and the selection camp on September 23rd. Four teams made up of some of the best francophone improv players face off all season long in the hopes of winning the Canoe Cup!

Free activities are taking place at the CCFM as part of Culture Days and Nuit Blanche! Facilitators will guide you and your children through the interactive exhibit of One-Eyed-Rabbit and you can enjoy a free screening of the film L’hermine (Courted). The CCFM joins Cinémental to present this great movie and invites you to the festival which begins on October 12 at the CCFM !

The 31st Mârdi jazz season is already underway! Every Tuesday night from September to June, we welcome the great jazz artists from Winnipeg and the world.

Experience some of the best francophone films on our big screens with our cinema series every last Saturday of the month!

Test your knowledge and have fun among friends in a warm and unpretentious atmosphere at Quelques arpents de piège, a French-language trivial pursuit where laughter and teamwork join forces every first Friday of the month at 5 PM!

The CCFM presents three school shows that give children the opportunity to participate in activities that touch various artistic mediums while building their autonomy and creativity: Krystine : Aujourd’hui c’est ma fête, La grande étude et Anne-Lune et le grand jeu enviro-fruit.

The CCFM, with the support of La Fédération des parents du Manitoba (FPM), invite you along with your children to One-Eyed-Rabbit, the first exhibit designed especially for children presented by the CCFM! Children and parents can explore the mystery of visual perception through the story of a friendly rabbit in a fun and interactive universe.

The CCFM, recognized as a cultural center and crossroad for French cultural life in Manitoba, invites all audiences to adopt this year’s theme, “CE SOIR JE SORS” and to use the hashtag #cesoirjesors.

The CCFM would like to thank its partners, collaborators and funders, all of who have contributed in the development of this wonderful programming for our 2016-2017 season.

Opening show for Cinémental 2016 : Daran – Le monde perdu

The CCFM in collaboration with Cinémental present Daran – Le monde perdu at the opening show for Cinémental 2016 !

The French-language film festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year and Daran is kicking things off with a very unique show! Daran presents the poetic universe of his album, Le monde perdu, by mixing video, drawings and music on stage. Wonderment guaranteed!

Daran is a Francophone singer-songwriter born in Italy and now living in Quebec. Daran’s music comes from blues and especially rock influences. It is distinguished by the elegant sound of two guitars, one acoustic and one electric.

Le monde perdu is undoubtedly the most accomplished and personal album of Daran’s career. The one that he’s wanted to make for 15 years. “Record companies have always been cautious with projects like this, but now I don’t really have to justify my musical choices, so I did it. A solo album, entirely acoustic, just guitar, vocals and harmonica.” An album in the purest tradition of North-American folk, to texts from Miossec, Pierre-Yves Lebert and Moran.

Cinémental is at CCFM from October 12th to 16th. See cinemental.com for the full festival lineup.
