The soprano began her vocal training at the age of 15 with André-Paul Bourret in Montreal and then in Moscow, in Vivieia Gromova’s class. Back in Montreal, she obtained a Bachelor of Music and a second in performance at the University of Montreal where she studied with Roland Richard. Eager to develop her knowledge and perfect her craft, she continued her training with singer Janine Lachance and Lucette Tremblay.

3. You’ll meet her quirky characters

Natalie Choquette slips into the skin of excessive and hilarious divas, brilliantly bringing laughter and emotion. Since the creation of her first comic character in 1993, La Fettucini, her characters provoke immediate enthusiasm and captivate both critics and the public. It gives the word “diva” a whole new meaning, helping to make opera more accessible without losing its luster.

Natalie Choquette leads a distinguished career with a succession of shows and international tours. More than two million people worldwide have been charmed by this exceptional artist.  The Quebec Diva won four Félix awards and has recorded over a dozen albums, including the Æterna trilogy that allowed her to raise over $30,000 for the Quebec Cancer Foundation.

Under her whimsical air, Natalie Choquette is an exceptional woman who speaks six languages, acts in films and does comedy shows. “Natalie Choquette is an extraordinary woman.
