A concert by Annette Campagne, the Gala Juste pour rire des Rendez-vous de la Francophonie and the Café-concert d’Élise : that’s what awaits you at the CCFM during the weekend of Math 18 to 20, which also highlights International Francophonie Day!
« The International Francophonie Day and the arrival of the Gala Juste pour rire des Rendez-vous de la francophonie makes for the perfect occasion to invite Manitobans to celebrate the French language and its multiple cultural expressions, in a big community rendez-vous throughout the entire weekend at the CCFM », says Marc Prescott, Co-CEO at the CCFM.
In fact, the CCFM offers you a programming brimming with activities and francophone pride from March 18 to 20th, starting with a concert by Annette Campagne on Friday, March 18th.
Winner of a Western Canadian Music Award pour her most recent album, ‘Papillon amiral’, folk/rock singer-songwriter Annette has the ability to slip through the keyhole of life to gather up, heart in hand, music and lyrics that touch the soul and jump start the heart.
Saturday, March 19th, the Gala Juste pour rire des Rendez-vous de la Francophonie will be at the CCFM for its fourth edition! Six comedians from here and away, including François Massicotte, will share the stage and make us laugh.
To finish the weekend, join us for an afternoon of classical music on Sunday, March 20 at the Café-concert d’Élise. Élise Lavallée and her special guest, Todd Martin from Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra perform a medley of classical music in an intimate setting.
Tickets for the show are available at 204.233.8972 and online at 340provencher.com/boutique.
